Kristen M. Pritchett, 37, passed away on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 in Mishawaka, IN.
Born on May 14, 1986 in Rochester, Indiana she was the daughter of Kenneth and Barbara (Salyer) Pritchett.
She attended LaVille High School graduating with the class of 2004. Kristen also attended Indiana University in South Bend and received her Master’s Degree as a Japanese interpreter. She worked for BEADS as a coordinator for Developmental Disabilities.
A woman who was full of life, happy go-lucky and easy going. Kristen absolutely loved Christmas and thrived on bringing joy to others as one the most selfless ladies that you would ever know. Intelligent truly does not begin to describe her, as she was one to never settle. Kristen would take a new role on at work, then would go and enroll into college courses to gain as much knowledge as she could to be able to succeed and serve others.
Kristen enjoyed Japanese Animation, going to conventions, making costumes, playing online games especially when it came to her favorite character Link from Zelda in the game Kingdom of Hearts. She will be deeply missed by all those who knew her well.
She attended and was baptized at St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Plymouth. Kristen was a member of the Japanese and Dungeons and Dragons Club.
She is survived by her mother Barbara Pritchett of Argos; brother Richard Pritchett of Plymouth; grandmother Cynthia Salyer of Argos as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Kristen is preceded in death by her father Kenneth, uncles: Kenneth Salyer, Charles Salyer Jr. Johnny Smith, Glen Smith; aunts: Jenny sherk, Betty Kuhn and Lorraine Cummins.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 14, 2024 from 2-4 pm at the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan Street, Plymouth.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 15, 2024 at 11 am with Pastor Tim Lee officiating.
Burial will take place in the Tippecanoe Cemetery, Tippecanoe.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to the family in honor of Kristen’s funeral service.
