Laura M. Fish, 87, a lifetime Marshall and Fulton County resident, died at 8:10 p.m. on Wednesday, May 12, 2010, at her home.
She was born on Dec. 8, 1922, in Plymouth, the daughter of Ivo and Myrtle Troyer Weaver. She attended Plymouth schools.
On February 8, 1941, in the parsonage of the U.B. Church in Plymouth, Laura and Everett L. Fish were married by Rev. Sickafoose.
Laura worked as a Drill Operator for White Farm Equipment in South Bend for 30 years, retiring in 1976.
She was a Church of the Brethren member and enjoyed gardening and having pets.
Laura is survived by her daughter: Gloria J. Swing of Kewanna, IN; her son: Everett M. (Martha) Fish of Lake City, FL; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers: Lawrence Weaver of Acampo, CA and Bob Weaver of Plymouth.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a daughter: Marilyn Brugh, a brother: Elson Weaver, a grandson Robert Myron Fish and a son-in-law: Calvin Swing.
Friends may visit with the family from Noon to 2 p.m. on Monday, May 17, 2010 at the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan St., Plymouth.
Funeral services will be conducted immediately following visitation at 2:00 p.m. Monday, at the funeral home .
Burial will be in New Oakhill Cemetery, Plymouth.
