Lifetime Plymouth resident, Leeroy Gross, 70 of 905 Berkley Street passed away at 12:52 pm on June 6, 2010 in St. Joseph Medical Center, Mishawaka.
Leeroy was born in Plymouth, Indiana on November 9, 1939 to Louis and Viola Snider Gross and he attended Plymouth Schools.
He worked several years at Eagle craft and also was a mechanic for many years.
Leeroy was an avid race fan and could be found at the Plymouth and New Paris speedway in his younger years. Leeroy was a true prankster and loved playing tricks on people. He loved country music, one of his favorites being Conway Twitty.
Leeroy is survived by three sons: Rick (Sherry) Gross, Plymouth, Greg (Tracey) Gross, Argos and Robert Cook, Clay Center, Kansas
He is also survived by four sisters and two brothers; his sisters are Barbara (Harry) Fisher, Plymouth, Janet Boyer, South Bend, Linda Johnson, Phoenix, Arizona, Mary (Jerry) Krick, Plymouth. His brothers are Dale (Tammy) Gross, Rochester and David Gross, South Bend.
Also surviving are 12 grandchildren and eight grandchildren.
Services will be held at a later date.
