Lisa Carol France

Lisa C. France, a cherished daughter, beloved sister, and dear friend to many, passed away peacefully at the age of 62 on February 19th, 2025 at the Ernestine M. Raclin House in Mishawaka after bravely facing a lengthy illness. Born on March 12, 1962 in Plymouth, she was the daughter of Dr. Lloyd and Maryann France. At the time of her passing, she called South Bend her home, though Plymouth was where her heart remained rooted throughout her life.

Lisa was a proud graduate of Plymouth High School with the Class of 1980, where she formed lasting friendships that would grow and flourish over the years.

Known for her vibrant spirit, Lisa radiated her joyful and colorful personality. Pink and purple were her favorite colors, which mirrored her sparkling personality. Her playful nature brought light and laughter wherever she went; she combined a zest for life with a remarkable ability to always see the silver lining, even in tough times. Lisa had a profound love for animals, particularly her cherished cats, who were her constant companions.

Creativity flowed through her veins, evident in her daily inspirations and cheery online images that brightened the days of those around her. Her home was a canvas for her seasonal and holiday decorations, reflecting her festive spirit and unique flair. She was happiest when she was listening to music and dancing around her home. Lisa found joy in cooking and baking, and it would be impossible to find an olive that she did not like.

She is survived by her sister, Michelle Lyman, and brother-in-law Mike, who will hold her memory close to their hearts.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Maryann.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 from 4-6PM at Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan Street, Plymouth, IN 46563, Funeral Services will be immediately following at 6PM.
