Lisa Yvette Burch-Fear, Georgia Rd., Goshen, Ind., a Bremen-Goshen area resident most of her life, died at 2:59 p.m., on Saturday, September 25, 2004, in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, Ind. Lisa died of natural causes; she was 43 years old.
Born in South Bend, Ind., on September 14, 1961, she was the daughter of Vernon Lee Burch and Naomi C. Conley (Burch) Niemier.
A 1981 graduate of Bremen High School, she attended IVY Tech and studied computer accounting.
She had worked for Lippert Components for many years, and was presently working for Cequent Towing Products in Goshen.
Lisa enjoyed doing yard work with commercial equipment and liked driving four-wheel drive trucks. She had fun being around her swimming pool with her granddaughter. She loved to plant trees and was a member of the Arbor Day Foundation.
A free spirit, she was a hard worker and was always on the go. Lisa is survived by her daughter, Leah Y. Fear and her granddaughter, Autumn S. Lidgard, both of Nappanee.
Brett W. Abbott, the love of her life, of Goshen, also survives, together with her mother, Naomi C. Niemier, four sisters and two brothers.
Her siblings are: Valerie J. Ottow, Plymouth; Sheila A. and Ernest Turnage, Plymouth; Renita R. Van Deventer, South Bend; Sheri N. and Brian Masterson, Plymouth; Roger L. Burch, Plymouth and Keenan L. and Lisa Burch, LaPaz.
Many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews survive as well.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Visitation with Lisa’s family will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, September 28, 2004, in the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan St., Plymouth.
Funeral services for Lisa will be held in the funeral home at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, September 29, 2004. The Rev. Greg Bouck, of the Plymouth Wesleyan Church, will officiate.
Interment will be in the Tyner Cemetery, Tyner, Ind.
