Madene Tyree, 76, died Friday evening at St. Joseph Regional Hospital in Plymouth, Indiana, after a short illness. Mrs. Tyree was born in Little Rock, Arkansas, on January 20, 1931, to Chester and Ruby Benoit. Mrs. Tyree was married to John Donald Tyree and spent most of her life in Tipp City, Ohio, before they moved to Plymouth, Indiana, to live with their only child, Daniel, and his family. Mrs. Tyree is survived by her son, Daniel and wife Charlotte of Plymouth, and three grandchildren, Katie, Nancy, and Jonathan. Her step-brother, Bruce Benoit of California, also survives. She was preceded in death by her husband. Visitation will be held at Frings-Bayliff Funeral Home, 327 W. Main St., Tipp City, Ohio, on Monday, August 27, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Tipp City, on Tuesday, August 28, at 3:00 p.m. Interment will follow at St. John’s Cemetery.
