Madge Blanch Isley, 83, died at home, at 2:40 pm Thursday, May 17, 2007. Madge moved to Plymouth in March 2005, coming from Rutledge, Tenn.
She was born the daughter of Chancy and Mary Alice Jones Isley in Rutledge, Tenn., on May 6, 1924. She attended schools in Granger County, Tenn. .
Madge cleaned houses for other people.
She was a member of Noah’s Chapel Church in Rutledge.
Madge is survived by a nephew, Johnny Whitt of Plymouth, three nieces: Mona Ames of Plymouth, Irene Hickey of Bremen and Dorothy Parker of Bourbon, along with seven great-nephews and 12 great-nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters: Mable Whitt, Vernie Isley and Georgia C. Isley, and three brothers: Earl, Walter, and Alford Isley.
The family will welcome friends from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 20, 2007, in the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, Plymouth, where funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday.
Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Plymouth.
