Manford K. “Kash” Back, Jr., an 8- year resident of Bremen, 1920 Faith Avenue, formerly of Plymouth, died at 7:35 a.m. on Saturday, August 5, 2000, as a result of an automobile accident in Knox. He was 31 years old.
Born on May 11, 1969, in Michigan City, Kash was the son of Manford K., Sr., and the late Lounette Clark Back. He attended Plymouth High School and later obtained his G.E.D.
He was an all-around good athlete, pitching softball in high school.
He was very interested in auto body repair and was good at it. He worked for his brother, Bill, the owner of Millers’ Auto Body in Knox.
Kash enjoyed races and attended the Plymouth and New Paris raceways. His father and brother raced cars and he grew up around race tracks and fast cars. Fishing was a sport that he enjoyed with his daughter.
Kash is survived by his father, Manford K. Back, Sr., Plymouth, and his six-year-old daughter, Samantha Jo Back, Bremen. Five sisters and three brothers also survive. His sisters are: Debbie Johnson, Vonda Back and Valerie Back, all of Plymouth: Janet and Bob Edwards, N. Judson, Paula and David Bowersox, Homer, Michigan. His brothers are Bill and Penny Miller, Knox, Stanford K. and Terri Back, Owenton, Ky., and Paul Mullins, Illinois.
He was preceded in death by his mother and Jarrad Snyder, a nephew.
Friends may visit with the family on Monday, August 7, 2000, from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan St., Plymouth, Ind.
Funeral services will be officiated by Pastor Stephen Patrick of the House of the Lord. The services will be on Tuesday, August 8 at 1:30 p.m. in the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home.
Burial will be in the Bremen Cemetery, Bremen, Ind.
