Margarette J. Dietl

Margarette J. Dietl, 81, born to Mike and Hazel Smith in Wise, VA, embarked on a lifelong journey filled with love, compassion, and dedication. Her warm smile and caring demeanor touched the lives of many during her 35-year career as a nurse aide at the Plymouth Regional Medical Center. Margarette's work was not just a profession but a calling - she had a natural inclination to help others, making her an invaluable member of the medical community.

Beyond her professional life, Margarette cherished precious family memories and held dear the moments spent visiting her sister in Kentucky. Her outgoing personality, combined with a fun-loving spirit, made her presence a joy to be around. Margarette's love for reading and her passion for collecting crystal and Fenton Art Glass reflected her appreciation for beauty and knowledge.

She leaves behind her devoted spouse, John W. Dietl; sons, Earl "Deno" Marzean and Robert "Bobby" Marzean and daughter, Theresa Marzean; grandchildren, Benji Adams and Emily Marzean, as well as great-granddaughter Kenzie Lawton. In addition, Margarette is survived by her dear sister Amanda.

She is reunited in peace with her parents, Mike and Hazel Smith; grandson, Cameron Lawton; and siblings, Edith, Joe, Johnny, Jimmy, and George.
