Maria Del Carmen Baca, 40, died of natural causes at her residence, 1100 West LaPorte Street, Plymouth, at 1:52 p.m. on Monday, August 1, 2011.
Maria was born in Guanajuato, Mexico, on Sept. 16, 1970. She was the daughter of Miguel Flores and Maria Consuelo Arvizu.
She attended school in Mexico until the 6th grade.
On Sept. 18, 1990, in Mexico, she and Juan Baca were married.
Maria was a homemaker. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family.
She was a member of St. Michael Roman Catholic Church.
She is survived by her husband, Juan and their three sons and a daughter. Her sons are Juan Baca, Jr., Miguel Baca and Leonardo Baca. Her daughter is Kimberly Baca, all of Plymouth.
Four sisters and two brothers also survive. Her sisters are Maria Delores Malagon and Maria Consuelo Velasquez, both of California, and Maria De Los Angeles Martinez and Maria Guadalupe Ortega, both of Nevada.
Her brothers, both of California, are Miguel and Sergio Flores.
Maria was preceded in death by her father.
Friends are invited to share memories with Maria’s family at the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan St., Plymouth on Thursday, August 4, 2011 from 4 – 8 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Maria will be held at 11 a.m. Friday August 5, 2011 in St. Michael Catholic Church, 613 N. Center St., Plymouth. The Rev. Frs. William Kummer and Eloy Jimenez will officiate.
Burial will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Plymouth.
Memorial gifts may be given to a charity of the donor’s choice.
