Marjorie M. Sullivan, 86, a lifetime area resident passed away at 11:40 a.m. on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 in Pilgrim Manor Nursing Center, Plymouth.
Born in LaPaz, Indiana on May 17, 1928, Marjorie was the daughter of Benjamin H., Sr. and Mae Rosetta (Stoup) Sherwood.
On July 4, 1954, Marjorie and Francis X. Sullivan, Jr. were married in Terre Haute, Indiana. Francis preceded her in death on March 4, 1998.
She had attended LaPaz Schools.
Before her marriage to Francis, Marjorie worked as a waitress for Howell’s Chicken In The Rough in Plymouth. Later she worked at J. C. Penney’s in Plymouth, Blue Star Auto Parts and Bendix Corp. in the Aircraft division, both in South Bend.
Marjorie is survived by four sons: Cary Sullivan, Shawn Sullivan, Rex Sullivan all of Plymouth and Tim & Tamber Sullivan of Rochester. Also surviving are 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Francis; four brothers: Ben, Ellsworth, Leland and Orbie and two sisters: Mary Howard and Neva Fisher.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Monday, January 12, 2015 in the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan Street, Plymouth, Indiana.
Funeral services will follow visitation at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, January 12, 2015 in the funeral home with Rev. Charles Krieg officiating.
