Matthew “Matt” Alexander Garrison, 29, a lifetime Plymouth resident, died at his residence, on Sunday, December 19, 2004, at 1:58 p.m. Born in Plymouth on December 11, 1975, Matt was the son of Joe A. and Ricki J. Reese Garrison. He attended Plymouth High School.
A member of the South Bend Labor’s Union, he had worked as a hod carrier for brick masons.
He enjoyed cars, Harley Davidson motorcycles and his two sons.
He had been a member of the Plymouth Moose Lodge and Marshall County ABATE.
Matt is survived by his parents, Joe and Ricki Garrison and by his two sons, Seth Garrison and Jace Mayer, all of Plymouth.
A sister, Jacki Larimore and brother-in-law, Bruce Larimore and two nieces, Rachael Bishop, Jaidlyn Larimore and a nephew, Pierce Larimore, all of Plymouth, survive as well.
Maternal grandparents, Richard and Viola Reese and his paternal grandmother, Ann Garrison, all of Plymouth and several aunts and uncles also survive.
Matt was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Charles Garrison.
Visitation with the family will be held on Wednesday, December 22, 2004, from 2 to 7 p.m. in the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan St., Plymouth.
Funeral services, conducted by the Rev. Chuck Krieg, pastor of the Salem United Methodist Church, Bremen, will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, December 23, 2004, in the funeral home.
Burial will be in New Oakhill Cemetery, Plymouth.
Gifts in memory of Matt may be made for the benefit of his sons.
