Miguel Moreno-Ortiz

Miguel Moreno-Ortiz, 49, passed away on Thursday, September 12, 2024, at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Mishawaka.

Born on December 29, 1974, in Santiago Capitiro, Mexico, he was the son of Miguel Moreno Arroyo and Rosa Ortiz Baca. On January 25, 2001, he married the love of his life Alejandra Moreno, she survives.

Miguel worked in machine maintenance at Hoosier Tires. A soft-spoken, hard-working man that was an excellent provider for his family. Miguel was incredibly generous towards others as he enjoyed helping anyone that he could.

In his spare time, Miguel enjoyed antiques from cars and stereos. He will be thoroughly missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his father, Miguel Moreno Arroyo and Mother Rosa Ortiz Baca of Santiago, Capitiro, MX; wife Alejandra Moreno of Plymouth; son Miguel Moreno of Plymouth; daughter Daniela Moreno of Plymouth; 4 sisters and 3 brothers.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 19, 2024, from 10:30 am-12:00 pm at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, 612 Walnut Street, Plymouth, IN 46563. A funeral Mass will immediately follow with Fr. Fernando Jimenez officiating.
