Mildred M. Moore, 80, of Plymouth, passed away early Thursday morning, May 12, 2016 with her family by her side. She was born on June 5, 1935 in Bremen, Indiana, to the late Ivo G. and Flora (Hepler) Huff. She was the last Huff to be born on the family homestead on the ridge west of Bremen. She attended school in Bremen and graduated from Lincoln High School in Plymouth with the class of 1953. Mildred became the bride of James E. Moore on August 14, 1953 in the Trinity United Methodist Church, and they were blessed with fifty-seven years together. They started their life together in Roseland, Indiana, but returned to Marshall County, settling on their farm near Tyner. James preceded her in death on November 9, 2010. She was a past member of the Tyner Rebekah Lodge 865, where she was the past Noble Grand. She also was a member of the Marshall County Master Gardeners and the Tyner United Methodist Church.

Mildred and James enjoyed the many wonderful memories with their card club friends, especially the numerous vacations to Wisconsin.

Mildred enjoyed tending to her flower gardens. She liked to quilt and collect antiques and jewelry. She treasured memories made with her children and grandchildren.

Surviving are her five children: Sue (Ron) Johnson of Bremen, Jerry (Trenda) Moore of Plymouth, Jenny Moore of Plymouth, Thomas (Karen) Moore of Plymouth, and John (Jeanna) Moore of Pierceton; as well as, nineteen grandchildren, forty-six great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren, along with nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brother, Roland Huff, and sister, Katherine Harrington. The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Monday May 16, 2016 in the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan Street, Plymouth.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 17, 2016 in the Tyner United Methodist Church, 4503 French St, Plymouth, with Rev. Dennis Soule officiating. Visitation will resume one hour prior in the church.

Burial will be in the Morris Park Cemetery on U.S. 6, west of LaPaz, IN. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Tyner United Methodist Church, 4503 French St, Plymouth, IN 46563.
