Monica Dawn Evans

January 14, 1967 — November 30, 2024

Plymouth

Monica Dawn Evans (née Dulle) passed away Saturday, November 30, 2024 in Argos, IN at the age of 57.

A graduate of Plymouth High School, Monica enjoyed studying journalism, psychology, and American Sign Language throughout her educational career. She loved to help others in need whenever possible, working throughout the years in special education, advocating for those living with HIV/AIDS, and interpreting for the deaf and hard of hearing community. She loved movies, theater, and music, passions she instilled to her beloved son. Monica also loved animals, especially dogs, but her favorite animals were bears. Somewhere, Monica is now peacefully traversing the afterlife with her parents, Ambrose “Tom” Dulle, Helen Mae Dulle (née Cook), and her brother Douglas Brian Dulle, whom she missed dearly for over three decades. Now they’re all probably playing King’s Corner or some other card game with the numerous dogs they all happily cared for over the years, including the boa python Douglas once owned. It’s easy to imagine they’re reminiscing over all of the vacations they took as a family, gossiping, and singing together out of key. When she’s had enough of losing at cards to her parents, Monica is working on her tan and enjoying some long distance running and swimming (she was once actively a runner, even coaching track at Bristol, IN’s Triton Middle School in the early aughts). Whatever she is doing, she is happy, and she is loved by those who will live on with her memory. Monica was kind, funny, and fiercely protective of those she loved.

In addition to numerous extended family members and the dearest of friends, Monica is survived by her favorite and only son, Spencer Ambrose Ray Evans (Chicago, IL), her loving husband, Robert Hall (Argos), her mother-in-law, Martha Hall (Argos), and fur babies, Audrey Lisbeth (Boston Terrier), Sarah Jessica Parker (Brown Tabby), and Cupcake (Calico Cat).

Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 6, 2024 at 1:00 pm at the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan Street, Plymouth with Life Celebrant James Smart officiating.

Burial will take place in the New Oak Hill Cemetery, Plymouth.
