Myrna A. Heaslip, 80, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Monday, June 1, 2020.
Born in Plymouth, Indiana on June 22, 1939, Myrna was the daughter of Kenneth and Ingrid (Skoglund) Holm. She graduated from Grovertown High School with the class of 1957.
After high school she worked as a hairdresser, in the dental lab and as a bank teller. But her biggest love was owning and operating the Hayloft Restaurant from 1974-1983.
Myrna was a longtime member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Donaldson. She also had a passion for gardening, crafts and family.
Her Swedish heritage played a big role in her life and she loved sharing this with all of those around her.
She had a huge heart and loved all those who came into her life.
Myrna is survived by her sons: Steven (Eve) Howard of Plymouth and Curt (Janet) Howard of Plymouth; step-children: Lynn (Scott) Lee, Ann (Tom) Frakes, Kathi Huck and Donald (Karen) Heaslip; siblings: Karen (Peter) Awald and Eileen (Brent) Martin; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all of whom she loved dearly.
She was preceded in death by her son, David Howard; husband, Donald Heaslip; her parents; brother, John Holm; and grandson, Tanner Lee.
Visitation will be held on Friday June, 5, 2020 from 11-1 p.m. at Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan Street, Plymouth. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Thelma Megill-Cobbler officiating. Memorial contributions can be made to Center for Hospice Care 112 S.
