Nancy Faye Nash, 57, died at her home, 14729 Dixon Lake Trail, Plymouth, at 9:50 a.m. Friday, January 12, 2001, in the loving care of her family and the Marshall County Hospice. Faye had lived in Marshall County since 1995, coming from the Detroit area.
Born in Warren, Michigan on Sept. 27, 1943, she was the daughter of J. Charles and Virginia Mae Hammett Smith Thomason. She attended schools in the Rochester, Mich. area.
For nine years, Faye worked in the administration of a warehouse for Lear Corp., formerly United Technologies. She first came to Plymouth when United Tech. relocated from Livonia, Mich.
She enjoyed flower gardening, crafts and writing poetry.
Faye is survived by three sons and two daughters. Her sons are: Randy and Robin Kent, Canton, Mich., Dale A. Nash, Plymouth, and Duane L. and Karen Nash, Dearborn, Mich. Her daughters are: Sherry K. Nash, Redford, Mich., and Debbie A. and Richard Kollar, Highland, Mich.
Six grandchildren also survive together with two sisters, Ann and Tony Lijoi, Sterling Heights, Mich., and Darlene Barrett, Rochester.
Two half-brothers and two-half sisters also survive: James C. Thomason, St. Paul, Minn., and Danny G. Smith, Hazel Park, Mich., Dawn D. and Al Marshall, Hazel Park, Mich., and D. and Mike Williamson, Los Angeles, Calif.
Faye was preceded in death by her father and a nephew, Vincent Lijoi.
There will be visitation at the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan St., Plymouth.
Interment will be in the Oakview Cemetery, Royal Oak, Mich.
