Nancy J. (Mrs. Rick) Cramer, 51, of Mishawaka, Indiana passed away Monday morning, September 26th in Mishawaka after being involved in a vehicular accident.
Nancy will be remembered as a person strong in her Christian belief and family values who was patient and caring to those she served. She will be dearly missed.
She was born Nancy J. Cuthbert on October 31, 1959 in Brighton, Michigan the daughter of William and Doris J. (Guest) Cuthbert. She was raised there and graduated from Brighton High School with the Class of 1977. There, she was active in the band program. In 1981 she attained her degree in Occupational Therapy from Eastern Michigan University. Following her graduation she completed an internship in the state of New York. She then took a position in the Elkhart/South Bend area. She currently was employed with Memorial Home Healthcare as an occupational therapist.
Nancy met Richard D. “Rick” Cramer and they were married on September 2, 1989 in South Bend. They are the proud parents of one son, Kenneth D. Cramer II, at home.
Also surviving are five brothers; Gary (Donna) Cuthbert of Burlington, New Jersey, Daniel (Polly) Cuthbert of Whitmore Lake, Mich., Michael Cuthbert of Williamston, Mich., David (Laura) Cuthbert of Tecumseh, Mich. and Richard (Jane) Cuthbert of Stockbridge, Mich. along with numerous nieces and nephews. Her in-laws; Kenneth and Margaret Cramer of Glendale, Ariz. also survive.
Nancy was very involved as a member of the Cornerstone Community Fellowship Church in LaPaz where she enjoyed the ladies Bible Study Group. She also loved to watch football and play golf.
Friends will be welcomed to celebrate her life on Sunday, October 2nd from 2 – 6 p.m. in the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan St. Plymouth.
Services will be held on Monday, October 3rd at 11 a.m. in the LaPaz Community Church of God, 601 S. Michigan St., LaPaz, Indiana. Visitation will continue in the church after 10 a.m. Pastor Stephen Cox will officiate. Burial will follow in the New Oakhill Cemetery, Plymouth.
