Eighty-six-year-old, Olive M. Olson, died of natural causes in the Catherine Kasper Life Center, Donaldson, Indiana. at 6:05 p.m. on Saturday, May 30, 2009.
Born the daughter of Charles and Addie Keller Reinhold, in Monterey, Indiana., on January 30, 1923, Olive attended St. Anne’s Catholic School in Monterey.
On June 30, 1946, she and Karl Olson were married.
Prior to her marriage, Olive worked at the Plymouth bus station. Later she worked at the License Branch and retired from the Marshall County Treasurer’s office as a First Deputy.
She loved to cook and was very good at it.
A member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church, she served in the Rosary Society. Olive is survived by her husband, Karl and by their son and daughter-in-law, Allen and Vonda Olson and their son, Blake, all of Plymouth.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Raymond, Clem and Chuck.
Friends are invited to visit with Olive’s family on Tuesday, June 2, 2009 from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan St., Plymouth.
A rosary prayer service will follow visitation at 7 p.m.
Olive’s funeral mass will be prayed on Wednesday, June 3, 2009, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, 612 N. Center Street, Plymouth.
The Rev. Father William Kummer will officiate.
Entombment will be in the New Oakhill Mausoleum in Plymouth.
Memorial gifts in Olive’s memory may be made to St. Michael’s Church or to the Altar Rosary Society.
