Patricia A. Keller

Patricia A. “Pat” Keller, 74, died of natural causes in her residence on Windmill Drive, Plymouth, at 12:25 p.m. on Monday, May 28, 2007.

Born in Chicago, Ill., on April 26, 1933, Pat was the daughter of Elmer and Ruth Rawlings Roberts.

She attended school in Chicago.

On February 26, 1966, in Chicago, Pat and Robert W. “Bob” Keller were married.

Pat and Bob had lived in Chicago, IL; Cassopolis, MI; Harrison, MI; and Bremen, IN before moving to Plymouth three years ago.

She had worked as a waitress and she and Bob had owned and operated the Wagon Wheel Motel in Harrison, Michigan.

Pat was an avid reader. She enjoyed playing Yahtzee and she loved flowers and talking on the phone with her family.

She is survived by Bob Keller, her devoted husband of 41 years and by her children, two daughters and three sons.

Her daughters are: Toni and Terry Bergel, Oaklawn, Ill., and Grace and Tim Beal, Wheatfield, Ind. Her sons are Phil and Dawn Caruso, Demotte, Ind.: Rick and Dee Caruso, Lemott, Ill., and Joe Caruso, Gary, Ind.

Five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren also survive together with two sisters: Carol Bittles, Plano, Ill., and Vivian Hinson, Lockport, Ill.

Two nieces and a grand-nephew survive as well.

Friends will be welcomed to celebrate the life and share memories of Pat with her family from 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 30, 2007, and after 7 a.m. on Thursday morning, July 31, 2007, at the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan St., Plymouth, Ind.

Funeral services for Pat will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, May 31, 2007, in the funeral home. The Rev. Steven Resner, pastor of the Calvary Lutheran Church, will officiate.

Burial will be in the New Oakhill Cemetery, Plymouth.

Memorial gifts in Pat’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Center for Hospice and Palliative Care.
