Patrick Karl Kauffman, 42, unexpectedly passed away on April 11, 2020 in his family’s home.
Born in Baltimore, Maryland on August 18, 1977, Patrick was the son of Kimberly Karl Kauffman and Joan L. (Coolahan) Bennett.
Patrick was a self-employed carpenter.
He loved to hunt and was a great cook. Patrick enjoyed art; being a talented tattoo artist and gifted in drawing and coloring.
Patrick is survived by his children: Elijah Kauffman, stationed in Pensacola, FL with the U.S. Navy, Nathan Hudnut of Indianapolis, Kaelyn Kauffman and Jackson Kauffman, both of Solomons, Maryland; his father, Kim (Dawn Benwell) Kauffman of Plymouth; his mother, Joan (Russell) Bennett of Hollywood, Maryland; his sister, Krystal (David) Waby and her sons, Tyler and Devin, all of Great Mills, Maryland; his ex-wife, Shannon Kauffman of Solomons, Maryland; and his maternal grandmother, Joan Hunter of Missouri.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Patrick Coolahan, and paternal grandparents, Francis Corey and Loyd Kauffman.
A Celebration of Patrick’s Life will be held at a later date.
