Paula Sue Morris, 47, a Marshall County resident all of her life, died unexpectedly from natural causes at 7:08 p.m. on Wednesday, January 5, 2011 in Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, Plymouth.
The daughter of Guy and Jean Masterson Flosenzier, Paula was born on September 13, 1963, in Plymouth.
A 1982 graduate of Plymouth High School, she had also attended Ancilla College.
Paula married Michael Morris and they were blessed with a son, Richard Morris. Paula and Mike were later divorced. Mike preceded Paula in death on November 19, 2005.
She worked for Hopple Excavating for several years as a bookkeeper.
An animal lover she enjoyed rescuing dogs and cats and giving them good homes. Paula also enjoyed Notre Dame Football, cooking, antiques and most of all family gatherings.
Paula is survived by her son, Richard; her parents, Guy and Jean Flosenzier; her companion and soul mate, George Hopple and his son, John of Culver; two brothers: Allen (Jamie) Flosenzier and Paul (Sherri) Flosenzier; two sisters: Debbie (Robert) Johnson and Kay Orangias, all of Plymouth; five nephews and two nieces: David and Jimmy Flosenzier; Mike and Sarah Orangias; Stephen and Eric Johnson and Lindsay Sauder She was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Charles Orangias.
Friends are invited to share memories with Paula’s family on Monday, January 10, 2011, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan St., Plymouth.
Memorial services, officiated by the Rev. Charles Krieg, will be held immediately following visitation at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
