Phillip L. McGowan

Phillip L. McGowan, 76, passed away on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at home. He was born on March 12, 1948, in Plymouth, Indiana to David E. and Jeanette (Rensberger) McGowan.

He worked for Skyline Corporation in Elkhart. Known as someone who was always positive, loving and caring to family and friends.

Phillip enjoyed bowling, fishing, playing cornhole and attending baseball games.

He is survived by his sister, Sandy Jarvis of Mishawaka, several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews as well as the Jarvis family.

Phillip was preceded in death by his parents, stepfather Bud Rensberger, sisters: Louise Redman and Betty Proud, brothers: David McGowan and James Brinkman.

A graveside service will take place on Friday, April 4, 2025 at 1:30 pm in the New Oak Hill Cemetery, Plymouth.
