Rafael Vaca Sr. 68, a long time Plymouth resident, passed away from a brief illness in the early morning hours on December 25, 2013. Rafael was born to Jesus and Dolores Vaca on December 10, 1945 in Capitiro Guanajuato, Mexico which is where he passed away surrounded by family and friends.
Rafael is survived by his wife Imelda Arroyo and his mother Dolores Vaca, both of Capitiro Guanajuato, Mexico and two sisters Amor and Maria Vaca, also of Capitiro Guanajuato, Mexico. Rafael also had four children, Dolores Juanita Vaca, of Plymouth In, Rafael Vaca Jr., Jessie Anthony Vaca and Joseph G. Vaca, all from Turner Oregon. Also surviving are his two young grandchildren Cruz M. Vaca, of Turner Or and Enrique D. Vaca of Plymouth In.
Rafael worked many years for the City of Plymouth and worked several seasons for Pioneer Hybrid.
Rafael is preceded in death by his father Jesus Vaca, his two brothers Elias and Javier Vaca all of Capitiro Guanajuato, Mexico and a grand-daughter Dolores Juanita Camacho-Vaca of Plymouth In.
