Rebecca Haining, 58, passed away unexpectedly in her home on Friday, October 16, 2020.
She was born in Plymouth, Indiana on July 16, 1962 to Burton Wallace and Mary (Large) Ganshorn.
Becky had a love for God and prayer and she took her faith very seriously. She enjoyed playing bingo with her friends online. She was also great at writing and very good with words. Becky whole heartedly loved riding horses. She owned a horse whom she was madly crazy about, Envy. She loved going to Potato Creek State Park with her good friend Joyce and they would ride for hours.
She was known for her big heart, and Becky was always trying to help others. She loved to cook and was good at it, just like her Mom. Growing up all the neighborhood kids would always be at Becky’s house, and she always treated all the kids as her own. All in all, Becky was an amazing person inside and out.
Becky is survived by 6 children: Wesley Wallace, Justin Haining, Brandon Haining, Lexi Haining, and two step children, Kim Haining and Kelsey Haining; her mother, Mary Ganshorn; and 10 grandchildren: Copelan, Oliver, Quinn, Cyrus, Shade, Akira, Destiny, Nevaeh, Abel, and Lincoln. Her parents are Mary Large, and the late Burton Wallace. A Celebration of Becky’s Life will be held on Saturday October 24, 2020 at the LaPaz American Legion, 100 W Randolph Street, LaPaz IN 46537 from 1pm-6pm.
