Rhonda Jean Holycross, died, following a long battle with cancer, at her residence, 18632 S.R. 331, Tippecanoe, Ind., on Saturday, February 14, 2004. She was only 44 years old.
She loved people and was dearly loved by her children.
Rhonda was born in Warsaw, Ind., on December 11, 1959, the daughter of Raymond Sr., and Juanita Cook Uhlig of Plymouth. She attended schools in Warsaw and Argos.
On December 27, 1987, in the Plymouth Assembly of God Church, Rhonda and Andrew Holycross were married.
A dedicated homemaker, Rhonda enjoyed cooking, gardening and was an expert at making beautiful flower arrangements.
Rhonda is survived by her spouse, Andrew, Tippecanoe, Ind., and by their three children.
Two sons survive: Raymond Daniel Holycross, Plymouth, Ind., and David Lee Holycross, Tippecanoe, Ind., and a daughter, Dianne Katherine Holycross, also of Tippecanoe.
Her parents, Raymond and Juanita Uhlig, Sr., Plymouth; a brother, Robert Yoder, Elkhart, Ind., and a sister, Dianne Rudd, Afton, Minn., survive as well.
On Wednesday, February 18, 2004, from 4 to 8 p.m., friends will be welcomed by the family at the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan St., Plymouth, Ind.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 19, 2004, at 2 p.m. in the funeral home. The Rev. Paul Nye will officiate.
Interment will be in New Oakhill Cemetery, Plymouth.
Memorial gifts in Rhonda’s name may be made to the Marshall County Cancer Association.
