Richard Swihart

Richard L. Swihart SR, 76, passed away on Wednesday morning, May 22, 2019 in Plymouth, IN.

Richard was a machinist for Itamco in Plymouth retiring in 2014. Richard loved to spend time with his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed stock car races and fishing with his sons. He is survived by his children Richard Jr. (Denise) Swihart of Plymouth, Debbie (Jeff) Jackson of Plymouth, and Robert (Emma) Swihart of Plymouth; the mother of his children and wife of 55 years Alice Swihart; his grandchildren Amy Roose of Plymouth, Adam Roose of Plymouth, Christopher Swihart of LaPaz, Ryan Swihart of Plymouth, Cody Fisher of Plymouth, William Swihart of Plymouth and Scott Swihart of Plymouth; his siblings David Swihart of LaPaz, Sandy Anders of Plymouth, and Linda Tyler of LaPaz; half siblings Debbie, Donna and Brenda Swihart; numerous other friends and family members also survive. Richard was preceded in death by his parents Donald and Freda (Wilhelm) Swihart and one nephew.

A private burial at Morris Cemetery will take place.
