WILSON, Robert H. “Bobo”, 67, of Richmond, VA, formerly of the Goodland, IN area, departed this life on December 17, 2009, due to complications from colon cancer.
Mr. Wilson was born at home in Wadena, IN, on June 23, 1942, the son of the late Donald R. and Elizabeth Compton Wilson. He attended school at Goodland until his senior year, and graduated from Wadena High School in 1960.
He served in the U.S. Air Force, and worked for over 40 years as a computer and printer technician for Unisys, Syspro and other companies. He was married to the former Peggy Gunter, who preceded him in death. He is survived by his daughter, Elizabeth (Mark) Webster, of Falls Church, VA; his son, Donald (Heather) Wilson, of Macungie, PA; and his grandchildren, Nathaniel Webster, Eleanor Webster, Grace Wilson, and Colin Wilson. He is also survived by his sisters, Mary (Bill) Stevens, of Lafayette, IN; Helen (Butch) Traylor, of Fowler, IN; his brother, Donald K. (Marsha) Wilson, of Plymouth, IN; 2 nieces and 4 nephews, and his aunt, Bessie Wilson of Kentland, IN. A brother with special needs, Leroy “Butch” Wilson, preceded him in death.
Interment will be in Fairlawn Cemetery, Kentland, IN.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Soldier’s Home in Lafayette or the American Cancer Society.
