Rose A. Ringer, 92, and lifetime Plymouth resident, passed away on Sunday March 25, 2018 at 11:45 a.m. at Miller’s Merry Manor in Plymouth.
Rose was born in Plymouth, Indiana on September 5, 1925 to George and Mary (Skalka Hajdusiewicz) Wojcik. She graduated from West High School with the class of 1944.
On February 14, 1946, Rose married Ralph R. Ringer. They shared 63 wonderful years together, traveling to all 50 states, before his passing on August 20, 2009. A devoted wife and mother, Rose and Ralph raised six children: Delores, Michael, Daniel, Larry, Carol and Leon.
She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and the Women’s Group, as well as, participating in various other church activities. She also enjoyed gardening and flowers.
Rose is survived by her children: Delores M. Ringer of Lawrence, KS, Michael A. (RoxAnn) Ringer of Coldwater, MI, Daniel L. (Janice) Ringer of Bremen, Larry W. (Cindy) Ringer of Lee’s Summit, MO, and Carol A. (James) Renna of Wallingford, CT; 7 grandchildren: Tony, Dustin, Ashley, Jason, Jack Ben and Olivia; sister Mary (Charles) Witz,: and sister-in-law, Rita Wojcik.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and son, Leon C. Ringer. Also, siblings: Anna Barnas, Frank Hajdusiewicz, Walter Hajdusiewicz, Ed Wojcik, Joseph Wojcik, Stella Kulkalski, Helen Bradtke, John Wojcik, Stanley Wojcik , and Aloysius Wojcik.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. on Saturday March 31, 2018 in the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan Street, Plymouth. Funeral services will follow at 12 p.m. with Pastor Bob Land officiating.
Burial will follow in the New Oak Hill Cemetery.
