Russell L. Sanders Sr. 62, of Plymouth passed away early Monday morning February 4, 2019 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born on August 12, 1956 in Frankfort, Indiana to John “Ray†and Bertha (Barker) Sanders. Russell married Sonia Rena Weldy on August 22, 1981 in Bremen and she survives.
Russell was employed for many years as a laborer in a door manufacturing plant in Walkerton, Indiana. He loved to work on cars, hunt, and fish.
Surviving is his wife, Sonia Rena Sanders of Plymouth, sons, Russell Lee Sanders Jr. of Argos, Joshua Alan Sanders of Plymouth, brother, Johnny Sanders of Wisconsin and sisters, Rita (Terry) Babb and Merri (Stan) Pugh both of Frankfort, Indiana.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and daughter, Hope Krystyne Sanders on May 27, 2004.
Visitation for Russell will be held at the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home 1100 N. Michigan Street, Plymouth on Friday February 8, 2019 from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service at 1:00 P.M. with Chaplin Denise Gilbert officiating. Interment will take place at New Oak Hill Cemetery, Plymouth.
