Sharon M. Senne Edwards, 73, of 445 Crimson Lane, died on Monday September 13, 2010.
Sharon was born in Omro, Wisconsin on April 17, 1937, the daughter of Edward L. and Emily Will Fondel. She graduated from Green Lake High School in Green Lake, Wisconsin with the class of 1955.
She was first married to Henry E. Senne. Henry died on February 2, 1972. In St. Paul’s Church in Addison, Illinois, on December 29, 1979, Sharon and John F. Edwards were married.
Sharon was a Radiologist Clerk for 8 years at the Mayo Clinic.
In Scottsdale, Arizona, she worked as a receptionist for 14 years at Lee-Well Printing.
At one time in her life, she was the president of the Addison Illinois Twins Club.
Sharon is survived by six children. Three daughters, a son, a step-daughter and a step-son. They are: Diane (Arnold) Siegert, Battle Greek, MI.; Doris (Donald) Newcomb, Dyersburg, IN.; Debra ( Roger, Sr.) Petimone, Scottsdale, AZ. Her son is Dean (Sharon) Senne, Bartlett, ILL. Her step-children are Mark Edwards, Addison, Ill. and Jennifer Edwards, DeKalb, Ill.
Fifteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren also survive together with a sister, Darlene Baker, Reedsville, N.C. and an aunt, Loretta Dolski, Omro, Wis. Several nieces and nephews survive as well. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, two brothers, Doug and Ron, a sister Donna and a brother-in-law- Rudy Baker.
A time of sharing with the family will be held on Saturday September 18, 2010 from 10 to 11 a.m. in the St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church at 37 Army Trail Road, Addison, Illinois. 60101.
A memorial service will be held immediately following visitation at 11 a.m. Services will be officiated by Rev. James Zimmerman.
Graveside services will be held in Oakridge Cemetery, Hillside, Illinois
Memorials contributions in Sharon’s name may be given to The Center for Hospice Care 112 S. Center Street, Plymouth, Indiana 46563.
