Sister Helen Wojciechowicz, 67, died at 12:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 8, 2008, in the St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Plymouth, IN. She was born in Chicago, IL. on June 25, 1940, the daughter of Phil and Mary Agnes O’Grady Wycko.
Sister Helen, was a nurse, she started her nursing career at St. Anne Hospital in 1964. She was a nurse for many years in various hospitals in Indiana and Illinois, until 1971 when she was involved in community service until her retirement to the Catherine Kasper Home in 1977.
She is survived by a sister Phyllis (Jim) Bistyak, a brother Leo (Mary) Wojciechowicz, and her nieces and nephews survive her as well. Visitation will be from 4:30 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, March 27, 2008, in the Catherine Kasper Home Chapel. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, March 28, 2008, in the Catherine Kasper Home Chapel. The Reverend Father Edward Konerman, S.J., will officiate.
Burial will be in Mount Carmel Cemetery, Donaldson.
