Sister Mary Erwwin Huelskamp, 92 died at 7:30 a.m. on Monday, May 21, 2007 in Catherine Kasper Home, Donaldson, Ind. She had been a resident of the Catherine Kasper Home since her retirement in October of 1997.
She was born in Breese, Illinois, on September 10, 1914, the daughter of Herman Huelskamp and Catherine Petermeier.
Sister Mary was a dedicated teacher from 1934 until her retirement. She taught at St. Joseph School, Mishawaka, Ind.; St. Henry School, Chicago, Ill.; Angel Guardian School, Chicago, Ill.; St. Monica School, Mishawaka, Ind.; St. Boniface School, Germantown, Ill.; St. Mary School, East Chicago, Ind.; St. Augustine High, Chicago, Ill. Ancilla High School/College, Donaldson, Ind.; and she was also a consultant of land management in Donaldson, Ind.
She is survived by 2 sisters, Sister David Huelskamp and Sister Lorine Huelskamp of Donaldson, Ind., a sister-in-law Betty Huelskamp, Breeze, Ill., and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 4:30 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday May 23 2007, in the Catherine Kasper Home Chapel.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 24, 2007, in the Catherine Kasper Home Chapel. The Reverend Father Edward Konerman, S.J., will officiate.
Burial will be in Mount Carmel Cemetery, Donaldson, Ind.
