Sr. Claretta Blattner, 88, died at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, October 9, 2006, in Catherine Kasper Life Center, Donaldson, IN.
She was born in Topeka, Kansas, on January 9, 1918, the daughter of Joseph and Theophilia Meier Blattner.
Sr. Claretta was a dedicated teacher and principal for many years.
She is survived by a sister-in-law, Bernadine Blattner, a brother-in-law, Henry Fetta, two nieces: Sr. Nora Hahn, P.H.J.C. and Margie Hahn, both of Donaldson, and numerous other nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 4:30 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, October 10, 2006, in the Catherine Kasper Life Center Chapel, Donaldson.
The Mass of Christian burial will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 11, 2006, in the Catherine Kasper Life Center Chapel. The Reverand Father Edward Konerman, S.J., will officiate.
Burial will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Donaldson.
