Susan Lee Marie Pfledderer

Susan “Susie” Lee Marie Pfledderer, 66, of South Bend passed away peacefully at home, Tuesday, January 22, 2019.

She was born September 10, 1952 in Gary, Indiana to Clara (Stachowski) Sterling. Susie loved her family, deeply. She was a very optimistic person, who never saw anything less than the best in people. Susie had the kindest personality that made everyone attracted to her. Her genuine and generous heart was always leading her to help everyone that ever needed it. Susie became a second mom to the entire neighborhood, often cooking breakfast for a house full of kids. Susie’s greatest treasures were her family. Left to treasure her memory are her children; Jason and Yankho Pfledderer, Kimberly Suzanne Yeager, and Brandon Kreier; grandchildren; Kami, Miranda, Emily and her husband Eric, Boston and her husband Thad, Dumi, Tuli, Zoey, and Azariah; great-grandsons Paxton and Jack; her siblings; Sharon Bean, Sander Zaper, Sheila Ellabarger, Ronwhin Sterling; as well as, several nieces, nephews, friends and family members. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 1, 2019 from 4 – 7 p.m. at the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan St., Plymouth. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at 1 p.m. in the funeral home, with Jason Pfledderer D.Th., officiating. Visitation will resume one hour prior to the service in the funeral home.

Burial will follow in the New Oak Hill Cemetery, Plymouth.
