Susan Lee Michell (Goff) was born September 24, 1951, and went home to be with the Lord (May 31, 2024).
Susan graduated from Thurston High School in 1969. She was a loyal wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She received Jesus Christ as her Savior in 1970, and that became the basis for a life devoted to Christ. For Susan, family came first, and she committed herself to them with unending encouragement, unconditional love, time-tested wisdom, and limitless faith. Compassionate, supportive, empathetic… these were the characteristics that endeared her to friends and family alike as they treasured their time with her. She had a unique way of making everyday moments special. In addition to excelling at cooking, she enjoyed hosting parties, Bible studies, playing games, and shopping on QVC. She was a people-person, loved children, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren, and was
envied for her ability to make everything special.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Steven Michell, her children Rebecca (Jeremy) Pugh, Michael (Andrea) Michell, Jenna (Kyle) Anderson; her grandchildren Megan Goonan, Ashley Baker, Tanner Baker, Brittney (Jacob) Eckelbarger, Caitlyn Pugh, Brandon Pugh, Jesse Michell, Michael Michell Jr., Kahlan Michell, and Elliott Anderson; her great grandchildren Devontay, Emerson and Caleb; her siblings John (Penny) Goff, Denise (Rick) Michell, her sister by love Deborah Demarco (Mike) Meluziis for 60+ years; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
