Susana Braganza DeJesus died of natural causes at 6:51 p.m. in Plymouth, on Friday, May 30, 2008.
Born in Detroit, Michigan, on August 13, 1959, Susana was the daughter Dr. Jose R. DeJesus, M.D. and Teofila Braganza DeJesus.
She graduated from Plymouth High School with the class of 1977 and attended Indiana University, Bloomington.
She was a member of St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church. She was in the choir. She loved singing and drama and was an accomplished piano player at a very young age.
She loved flowers and angels, and was very creative, was skilled in crafts.
Susana was a very kind and loving soul and was great with children.
Her mother, Teofila, Plymouth, and three sisters survive Susana’s death. They are Liza B. DeJesus, Chicago, Ill.: Mary Jane D. (Gerard) Russell, Park Ridge, Ill., and Consolacion B. DeJesus, Los Angeles, Calif.
Two nieces, Kathleen and Isabella Russell and a nephew, Joseph Russell, Park Ridge, Ill., also survive.
Family funeral services and burial rites were held privately.
Burial was in New Oakhill Cemetery.
