Thelma M. Ronk, 92, died at 4:45 p.m. Friday, June 27, 2008 at Miller’s Merry Manor, Plymouth, IN.
Born in Carrol County, IN on Nov. 27, 1915, Thelma was the daughter of Walter R. and Emma Arion Edgerley. A Plymouth resident since 1939, Thelma had attended schools in Carrol County.
On December 22, 1934, Thelma and Forest C. Ronk were married in Knox, IN. Forest died on January 10, 1998.
Thelma was a homemaker and had worked as a waitress and as an escort for Mobile Homes.
She was especially fond of spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Thelma is survived by three daughters: Shirley (Ed) Rusher, Patsy (John) Kuhn of Plymouth and Peggy (Mike) Perdue of Rochester, a son, Bill (Karen) Ronk of Plymouth , 12 grandchildren , 21 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Thelma was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son-in-law, Gary Lawmaster and a great-grandson, Dustin Ronk.
Friends are invited to celebrate Thelma’s life on Monday, June 30, 2008, from 4 to 8 p.m. and after 7:00 a.m. Tuesday in the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan St., Plymouth.
Funeral services officiated by the Rev. Charles Krieg will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 1, 2008, in the funeral home.
Memorial contributions in Thelma’s memory may be made to the Dustin Ronk Memorial Fund or the Alzheimers Unit of Miller’s Merry Manor, Plymouth or a Charity of the Donor’s Choice.
