Theresa K. Klingerman, 76, passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2024, at home.
Born on September 16, 1947, in Bremen, Indiana, she was the daughter of Phillip and Marcella (Kling) Clauss.
She attended Bremen High School, graduating with the class of 1965. On September 5, 1970, she married Clayton Klingerman at St. Dominic's Catholic Church in Bremen. Theresa also attended Bethel University receiving her bachelor’s degree in nursing in 2001.
She cared for so many people throughout her life, tending to the elderly. Theresa had a soft gentle heart and a listening ear for those in need, always paying close attention to the life story of a patient.
Known as a quiet, gentle, and earthy soul who absolutely loved flowers and worked for Whiteman-Cooks Greenhouses as a floral arranger for many years. Tradition was important to her as her children reflect on the Sunday pancake breakfast and the Friday night movie and popcorn nights.
She was a member to the Heartland Artist Group, St. Michael’s Catholic Church and attended St. Dominic’s Catholic Church in Bremen.
She is survived by her daughter Sarah Klingerman of Plymouth; sons Clinton Klingerman of Plymouth; Nathan Klingerman of Walkerton; grandson Silas son to Sarah; siblings: Judy (Ron) Davis of Plymouth; Jack (Beth) Clauss of South Carolina; Rosalie Cleveland of Greenwood, IN; Marcia Roeder of Bremen; Mary (Wayne) Chauncey of New York; Susan Clauss of Indianapolis; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Theresa is preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 4, 2024, from 4:00 -6:00 pm at St. Dominic Catholic Church, 803 W Bike St. Bremen, IN, 46506. Rosary will be recited following the visitation.
Mass of a Christian Burial will be held on Friday, April 5, 2024, at 10 am with Fr. Fernando Jimenez officiating.
Burial will take place in the Bremen Cemetery, Bremen.
