Victoria Lynn Hite, a lifetime resident of Plymouth, Indiana, passed away on July 18, 2024, at the age of 69. She was a beloved daughter, sister, and friend with an unwavering commitment to kindness and service. Vickie was always there whenever anyone needed her; her sincere care and generous spirit never failed to fill her large family and many friends with joy and comfort.
Born on April 2, 1955, Vickie was the first child of Dale and Alice Hite. She was preceded in death by her father, Dale Hite, and brother, Stanley Hite. She is survived by her mother, Alice Hite; her sisters, Fran (Jerry) Menser and Gina (Tim) Howell; her brothers, Michael (Vicki) Hite and Vince (Cindy) Hite; and 10+ (great) nieces and nephews.
Vickie’s steadfast kindness and service also extended well beyond her family and friends: Vickie’s career in banking contributed to her larger community in countless ways; she also made a lifetime of contributions to her church (St. Michael Catholic Church) -- as a gifted cantor, committed volunteer, and devoted member.
Vickie will be dearly missed, yet her life of kindness and legacy of service will always live on in our hearts and “Somewhere Over the Rainbow.”
