Wayne A. Couts, 46, died of a sudden heart attack at 8:17 p.m. on Saturday, June 5, 2004. A resident of 6221 S.R. 17, Plymouth, Wayne died in Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center.
Born January 18, 1958, in Knox, Ind., Wayne was the son of Harold P. Couts and Edna H. Miles. He was a 1976 graduate of Plymouth High School.
Wayne was a detailer for the Country Auto dealers for Chevrolet and Cadillac.
He loved working on cars, old or new. He enjoyed NASCAR events and being with his family and was a fan of television.
Wayne is survived by Wanda Ferreira, his girl friend of 17 years and by his daughter, Jennifer Couts, and his son Jarrod Couts, all of Plymouth.
A sister, Marilyn Couts, Plymouth, also survives.
Wayne was preceded in death by his father and his mother.
Friends will be welcomed warmly by Wayne’s family on Monday, June 7, 2004, from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan St., Plymouth.
Funeral services for Wayne will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday, June 8, 2004, at 10:30 a.m.
Burial will be in New Oakhill Cemetery, Plymouth.
