William H. “Bill” Jones, 75, of 611 E. LaPorte St. Plymouth, died of natural causes at 8:50 p.m. in the St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Plymouth.
He was born the son of Elsie and Elvira Jones on October 27, 1931 in Plymouth. He attended Plymouth High School and later earned his G.E.D.
Bill served in the United States Air Force.
On August 13, 1960 in Plymouth he married the former Tennie Sue Houghton who preceded him in death on October 21, 2003.
In 1987 he retired from South Bend Bendix Corporation after 36 years of service building fuel control units.
He is survived by a son; William K. Jones of Plymouth, three daughters; Elaine Bradley of College Park, Georgia, Lori Borys and Racheal Jones both of Plymouth and four grandchildren.
Other survivors include sisters; Esther Klapp, Mary Smith, Hazel Stickler, Betty Sullivan, Margaret Wolsinder and Barbara Bayse as well as brothers; Charles Jones and Harry Jones.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 12th in the New Oakhill Cemetery Chapel where friends may call one hour prior to services. Burial will follow in New Oakhill Cemetery.
